Welcome To POP Studio

Last September I stumbled into a studio space in North Park. The space was in really rough shape but the location, and overall layout was ideal. It was tucked away in the back on Ray Street, had a fun roll up door, with french doors behind it, beautiful old windows that led in a ton of natural light, and a large room in the back that we can make into a flower cooler.

The building is over a hundred years old (exaggerating a little here, but it’s pretty old) and has had many lives. It was a pillow manufacturing place, a tattoo shop, and a cross-fit gym. It was covered in years of grime and terrible old paint.

Throughout the winter we completely renovated and we cleaned it out, built a flower cooler, a kitchenette, did flooring, and painted it floor to ceiling white. In December we officially moved in and I couldn’t be happier! It’s so fitting for us and has been so fun working in such a beautiful space. We will hosting lots of fun events, workshops and shoots in here and we cannot wait.
